Judith Corachán wins the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championships in her farewell to the discipline

Judith Corachan 226ERS

Last weekend was a memorable one for Spanish triathlon. Our ambassador, Judith Corachán, was crowned Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Champion, once again demonstrating her commitment, dedication, and ability to excel in every competition.

She delivered a masterful performance in the Mediterranean Epic Triathlon, which took place in Oropesa del Mar and Cabanes (Castellón). This victory had a special value beyond the gold: it was her last professional competition in this discipline. And she could not have had a better farewell.

A demanding race from the start

The FULL distance course of the Mediterranean Epic Triathlon was relentless: 3,800 metres of swimming, 180 kilometres of cycling and a marathon (42 kilometres) in the Castellón sunshine, with over 300 triathletes on the starting line. The heat, the toughness of the course, and the demands of competing in a national championship made for a challenging day.

A victory to remember

Judith Corachán’s performance at the Mediterranean Epic Triathlon was much more than just a victory; it was a masterclass in strategy, mental strength, and passion for the sport. Having won four national titles, she is bidding farewell to long-distance events, leaving an indelible mark.

Thank you, Judith, for inspiring us once again.
