ToggleThe 2025 season has been a turning point for Movistar Team, achieving a total of eight national titles – four in the men’s team and four in the women’s team – consolidating its position as one of the most dominant squads at national championships around the world. Although cycling is a team sport, these achievements were cemented by individual performances that marked the campaign.
But there is a quiet, decisive factor behind each victory: sports nutrition. In particular, the role of 226ERS, the team’s official partner, has been key to sustaining the cyclists’ performance, recovery and focus on each day of competition.
The men’s team is unstoppable
1. Jefferson Cepeda (Ecuador), time trial (31 January 2025).
The Venezuelan star won both the time trial and the road race. His versatility as a sprinter, road racer and endurance rider was key for the team in different terrains, enabling him to win two national titles in a few days.
3. Iván Romeo – España, ruta (29 de junio)
Iván Romeo put the finishing touch in Granada. The 21-year-old from Valladolid surprised everyone with a solo breakaway that culminated in victory in the Spanish Road Championship. Romeo has had a brilliant season, winning three races and becoming the team’s most successful rider.
These four national titles made Movistar the team with the most men’s titles in 2025 — an outstanding achievement.
Women’s team: balance and diversity
1. Jelena Erić (Serbia), road (22 June)
Jelena Erić is one of the team’s most consistent riders. She won the Serbian national road championship, living up to expectations after a solid season.

Performance based on science and nutrition
In 2025, Movistar Team opted for a multidisciplinary approach, effectively integrating work with coaches, biomechanists and nutritionists. In this model, collaboration with 226ERS has not only been sponsorship, but also a technological alliance based on innovation, field testing and adaptability for each rider.
Each cyclist has a personalised nutritional strategy that is adjusted according to the type of race, altitude, ambient temperature, duration, and type of effort. This approach has enabled all national champions to peak in physical and metabolic fitness at the most crucial moments.
