The Buff-Megamo Team is once again shining brightly on the international stage. They kicked off the 2025 HERO UCI Cross-Country Marathon World Cup season in style, claiming a double victory at the Capoliveri Legend Cup on the Italian island of Elba. Rosa van Doorn and Wout Alleman won their respective categories on the 65 km course, which had an elevation gain of 2,400 metres. This result once again demonstrates the team’s strength and cohesion. It was an epic day, marked by the effort, strategy and endurance that define the highest level of MTB — a day on which sports nutrition once again played a fundamental role.

Rosa van Doorn starred in an impeccable race, staying among the leaders from the first kilometres and consolidating her position with strength and perseverance in the course’s most challenging sections. With a time of 3:37:15, she crossed the finish line more than five minutes ahead of the runner-up. This victory not only represents a step forward in her career, but also a milestone for the women’s team of the Buff-Megamo Team.
For his part, Wout Alleman demonstrated once again why he is one of the most consistent riders on the international stage. After a tactical start, he managed his energy well, seizing key moments to break away from the chasing group. He crossed the finish line alone in 2:59:42, securing a decisive victory.
