Orange Lyophilisates with Camu Camu and Cinnamon
Lyophilisation or freeze-drying is a dehydration technique conducted in a vacuum and at low atmospheric pressure. The result is similar to that of dehydrated foods, as the process retains the same properties as the original product.
When fruit and vegetables are lyophilised they become crunchy. The same nutrients, flavour and original colour are kept. Conservatives are not added nor is the food changed beyond the water molecules that are removed, which allows the product to be eaten in its original form.
As a result, we manage to produce a product that weighs very little, maintains the same nutritional characteristics, is easily carried thanks to its size and whose shelf life is greatly prolonged.
It is also a handy way to be able to eat nutrients that are otherwise out of season, ones which, for specific reasons, we need to eat throughout the year.
We have added two superfoods to the Orange Lyophilisates that improve its benefits and give it that extra kick in flavour.
Camu Camu is the size of a large grape and is predominantly set apart from other fruits because of the incredible amount of vitamin C that it contains. It provides more than 200mg of vitamin C for every 100g and contains a large number of bioflavonoids, essential amino acids and minerals.
Camu Camu improves our defences, provides energy, prevents infections and inflammation, and has powerful anti-oxidant properties.
Cinnamon, apart from adding more taste to the zesty orange flavour, is an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.
HOW TO USE
These products are vacuum packed in single-sachets of 20g, which is approximately equivalent to one piece of fruit.
It is the ideal snack to take between eating hours, as it is full of healthy, delicious nutrients. It is easy to carry throughout your entire workday, during training, on day trips or journeys that take several days or weeks. Its great taste can be enjoyed at any moment.
