Introducing three new HIGH ENERGY GEL flavors; Espresso Coffee, Banana and Orange, and two new flavors of ISOTONIC GEL, Watermelon and Cola. The new gels have been developed to meet the requirements and demanding energy needs of the MOVISTAR TEAM professional cycling team, but also for any athlete seeking maximum energy for their performance.
All of these gels are formulated primarily with Cyclodextrin. It is a state-of-the-art carbohydrate that improves glycogen replacement more efficiently and also has the following characteristics:
- Offers a prolonged release of energy during and after exercise.
- It has fewer insulin peaks, favoring the faster use of glucose at the cellular level and maintaining the blood sugar level for longer.
- It achieves an active gastric emptying due to its high molecular weight and low osmolarity, promoting digestion and reducing gastrointestinal side effects.
- It does not inhibit the burning of fat, essential in resistance.
HIGH ENERGY GEL. They provide 50 g (200 kcal) of carbohydrates mainly from Cyclodextrin, with a 1: 1 ratio for complex and simple carbohydrates.
The three new flavors are:
- Espresso Coffee: add 80 mg of caffeine to the formula.
- Orange: incorporates 1g of BCAA 8.1.1 into the HEG base
- Banana: provides a high amount of multi-transportable carbohydrates and mineral salts.
HIGH ENERGY GEL now has six different flavors with different characteristics for each of them: Lemon and Banana contain a large amount of carbohydrates and salts, Blackcurrant and Orange that add 1 g of BCAAs 8.1.1 to the gel base, and Espresso Coffee and Cherry with 80 mg and 160 mg of caffeine respectively.
