Spain already has a marathon team for the Olympic Games of Paris 2024. The selection has opted for three men and three debutants in an Olympic event. A total renewal for those who competed in Tokyo three years ago. Meet the male team, athletes from 226ers:

Tariku Noval

Tariku Noval, the 26 -year -old Galician is Unique Spanish marathon to run a marathon in 2 hours and 5 minutes. Record that registered in the last Marathon of Valencia, and that assured his participation in the JJ.oo. from Paris 2024. Of Ethiopian origin, Tariku was adopted by a Galician couple, stood out in 2017 as a runner-up of U-20 Europe of 5,000 meters. Train in the capital by Juan del Campo and Luis Miguel Martín Berlanas, sharing races with Tariku. His progression has made him win a hole in what will be his first universal championship. Ibrahim Chakir

Chakir was proclaimed Spanish marathon champion in the last Marathon of Seville, ensuring its place for the Olympic Games in Paris. With a mark of 2:07:48 it became an indisputable of the Olympic team. Its most outstanding brands:
