Thibault Marquet

You may not sound your name, but Thibault Marquet is a regular of the Ultra Trail podium.

This athlete has shared his adventures on his social networks, and we have been able to see him in Chambéry, where he made a professional career. Then England toured by bicycle with a friend. And another day, as a private driver on the Costa Azul. Then he found himself in Corsica, watching a mountain shelter….

Who is Thibult Marquet?

Thibault Marquet It is original of the French Brittany (1991). He lived near Saint-Malo in his student time and then moved to Chambéry, to study at a Le Bourget-Du-Lac business school.

Once he finished his studies, he got practices in the 4 -month winter season with Franck Piccar in Picard Sport. He liked it so much, that he returned to Beaufortain all the winters for 9 years and there he met his wife.

In this place, he had contact with the mountain, where he started riding a bicycle, Practicing CROSS mountain cycling, where he could participate with a team in the World Cup, representing France. In 2011 he left the XCO in Péoule, with the title of Champion of University France.

All this experience inherited from mountain cycling, next to have perfected his physique in the Himalaya and his adventurous spirit, have made Thibult success as Trail Runner.

Living in Beaufortain, a place surrounded by mountains, allows Thibult Marquet to practice different sports, such as Sky, snowboarding, paragliding, ... sports that allow him to feel free.
