226ERS, official nutrition partner at the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships

At 226ERS we are very excited to share news that fills us with energy: We will be the official nutrition partner of the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships. For us it is a pride to be present at an event of this magnitude, which represents the best of the gravel spirit: adventure, demand and pure passion for cycling.

The 2025 Gravel World Championship: date and location confirmed

The fourth edition of the UCI Gravel World Championships will take place on October 11 and 12, 2025 in the region of Zuid-Limburg, south of the Netherlands.

Although it was initially planned to be in Nice, the headquarters were moved to Limburg after the withdrawal of the French city. The organization will be carried out by Great goal, together with the municipalities of Maastricht, Beek and Beekdaelen.

 Zuid-Limburg is not just any place:

• It combines cycling tradition with spectacular terrain of hills, trails and country roads.
• It is recognized as UCI Bike Region.
• It has been the scene of road and cyclocross world championships, establishing itself as a key place in the history of cycling. 

A demanding tour in Limburg

The route is designed to test both the resistance and technique of the cyclists:

• Exit in Beek and arrival in Maastricht, in the iconic “Groene Loper”.
• A 50 km main circuit with some 550–560 meters of elevation per lap.
• Distances adapted to each category:
• female elite: 131 km (2.5 laps).
• male elite: 180 km (3.5 laps).

The route combines sections of asphalt, gravel tracks, trails and undulating areas. The initial climb will quickly select the peloton and, in the last loop, two final climbs will mark the difference before arriving in Maastricht.
