All ready for the final of the Triathlon World Championship
From October 17 to 20 Torremolinos will attract 5500 athletes To celebrate the final of Triathlon World Championship One of the most prestigious events in the Triathlon calendar, where the best athletes from different countries compete in the discipline.
José Hidalgo, president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, expressed his satisfaction at the success of participation of the final Torremolinos-Andalucía.
«It is great news for the triathlon that more than 5,500 athletes will compete in this world championship final, and that with their companions will end up getting another record of assistance, exceeding the 20,000 people in total, all of them, from more than 140 countries. This demonstrates the excellent health and growth that our sport is experiencing today ».
During the three days of competition, the Andalusian city will host the finals of different categories, such as relays, paratriathlon, sub23, junior, etc. The finals are expected to be a first level show and an incentive for all those young athletes who are starting.
