The 2026 Valencia 10K: a historic edition with the 226ERS seal

The 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun once again demonstrated why it is one of the most important 10 kilometer events on the international scene. After holding this edition, the balance could not be more positive: great participation, top-level records and a city completely dedicated to running.

226ERS, sponsor of an emblematic test

226ERS has been an official sponsor of the race, reinforcing its commitment to the sport and to one of the fastest events on the calendar.

Our presence was noted both in the route's refreshments as in the runner bag, where thousands of participants could count on 226ERS products to face the test and subsequent recovery.

Furthermore, we were present at the runner's fair, which registered a large capacity throughout the weekend and allowed direct contact with runners of all levels. Throughout the circuit there was also a notable brand visibility, accompanying the athletes every kilometer.

Records and career highlights

The Valencia 10K was once again the scene of exceptional performances:

• Men's European record: Andreas Almgren, with a time of 26:45.
• Women's European record: Eilish McColgan, who crossed the finish line in 30:08.
• Spanish men's record: Said Mechaal, with 27:25. 

With more than 15,600 runners At the starting line, the test reaffirms its position as one of the fastest 10K in the world, favored by a flat circuit, optimal conditions and top-level organization.

A running weekend in Valencia

Valencia once again responded with an exceptional atmosphere, both for elite athletes and popular runners, many of whom managed to improve their personal bests.
