The Cape Epic 2025 has left its mark on the dusty paths of South Africa, and once again, the show has been up to the challenge. In 226ers we are not only passionate about sports nutrition, but also to be part of the path of those who give everything at each stage. And in this edition, our teams have once again demonstrated that they are made from another pasta.

Buff Megamo: Victories in key stages

The team Buff Megamo He has had a remarkable participation in this edition of the CAPE Epic. In the second stage, an individual counterreloj of 66 km, Wout Alleman and Martin Stošek surprised to take the victory with a time of 2:13:05, surpassing in favorites such as Nino Schurter and Filippo Colombo. This action allowed them to position themselves favorably in the general classification and demonstrate their ability to compete at the highest level. On the other hand, the team formed by José Dias and Pablo Rodríguez Guede, he also left his mark by getting a stage victory, consolidating the dominant presence of the team in the competition. ​

Cannondale Isb Sport: Domain in the women's category

The female team of Cannondale Isb Sport, composed of Monica Calderón and Tessa Kortekaas, he had an outstanding performance by achieving two stage victories and two seconds. Their performance led them to end in a meritorious fourth position in the general female classification, leaving just two minutes from the podium. This result underlines its tenacity and competitive spirit throughout the race.

Orbea Factory Team: Leadership in the Grand Masters category


He Orbea Factory Team, composed of Ibon Zugasti and Kaare Aagaard, showed their experience and consistency from the beginning of the competition. During the prologue, they dominated in the Grand Masters category, establishing a precedent for the following stages. Although they faced challenges throughout the race, and the two components could not finish the competition, their performance reaffirmed their position as outstanding contestants in their category.

Klimatiza Orbea: Consistency and prominent performance


The team Klimatiza orbea, composed of Samuele Porro and Marc Stutzmann, showed a consistent action throughout the competition. They achieved a fourth place in the prologue and maintained a solid performance in the following stages, ending in the tenth position of the general male classification. Its performance reflects a combination of experience and determination in one of the most challenging races in the world.
