Last weekend Patrick Lange He achieved second position and new record in the prestigious Roth Challenge. This long distance triathlon is known for being one of the most emblematic triathlons in the world.
The outstanding German triathlete, was champion in the 2021 and second edition in 2022. This year he joined the wave of records by lowering the Best world brand in the marathon of a triathlon of distance Ironman that he himself got last November in Israel.

Born on August 2, 1986 in Bad Wildungen (Germany), Patrick Lange has left an indelible brand in the Triathlon history. In its beginnings he focused on mountain cycling, where he obtained several successes at regional and national level. However, it was in the triathlon where he found his true passion. The combination of swimming, cycling and career on foot offered him a unique challenge that drove him to reach increasingly high levels. It was in 2016 when the athlete made his debut in the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. He registered a time of 8 hours, 11 minutes and 14 seconds, which earned him a third place. In 2017 he returned to Kona, demonstrating his ability to overcome obstacles. He won an epic victory with a time of 8 hours, 1 minute and 40 seconds, becoming the Ironman World Champion. The highlight was the race on the final foot, where it established a new marathon record for the Ironman World Championship, completing the 42,195 kilometers in an amazing time of 2:39:59.
