Sad Colina 2025: A Historical Edition with flavor 226ers
Of the July 24 to 27, the Sierra de la Demanda again vibrated with the seventh edition of Sad UCI S1 hill, one of the most demanding and spectacular tests of the international MTB calendar. With departure and goal in Santo Domingo de Silos (Burgos) and the unmistakable backdrop of the Sad Hill cemetery - Scenary of The good, the ugly and the bad-, the race combined physical hardness, technique and an environment full of history.
In 226ers we could not miss: we were present as official sponsors and we accompanied all runners with our products to help them to perform to the maximum for four days of pure Mountain Bike.
Triumphs with seal 226ers
Our ambassadors shone with their own light, signing an unforgettable edition:
🥇 José Days (Buff Megamo) He was crowned absolute champion after dominating from the first stage, where he already marked differences in the opening counter.
🥇 Natalia Fischer (Buff Megamo) It was imposed in the female category, demonstrating its strength and perseverance throughout the test.
🥈 Marc Stutzmann (Klimatiza Orbea Team) He completed an outstanding performance that led him to the second place of the male general.
🥉 Samuele Porro (Klimatiza Orbea Team) He added another international podium for the team, with a solid third position.
🥇 In the category of Mixed couples, he Movistar Grave Team, with Alejandro Valverde and Marta Torà, gave no option and took the victory with authority.
A dream result for all of them, the result of preparation, teamwork and a well -kept nutrition strategy.
A career that is much more than cycling
Sad Colina is not just a competition: it is an experience. The almost 400 bikers from 20 countries who gathered this year lived stages full of technical trails, endless ups and downs of vertigo, crossing unique enclaves as The yecla, El Alto de Cervera or the mythical Berrocales.
For 226ers, being in Sad Colina means accompanying each cyclist in their personal challenge. With products designed to offer clean, digestive and sustainable energy, we seek that each corridor can exceed its limits and enjoy the experience to the fullest.
