The North Face Transgrancanaria: an epic event
The 26th edition of The North Face Transgrancanaria has taken place this weekend February 22 and has been the edition of the records, with More than 5,300 participants from 70 nationalities which participated in the eight modalities of the test, consolidating its status as an international reference event in the trail running.
In the 126km modality, the American Caleb Olson established a new record in the male category, completing the kilometers in 12 hours, 2 minutes and 50 seconds. In the women's category, the Norwegian Henriette Alban was crowned champion with a time of 15 hours, 2 minutes and 50 seconds.
Besides, Antonio Martínez, athlete sponsored by 226ers, he highlighted in the edition by revalidating his title in the Half category, with a 21 -kilometer route between bridge and Tejada.
One more year 226ers has been the official event of the event, providing athletes with a range of products that contribute to the performance and well -being of the participants during the demanding test.
