The consumption of carbohydrates is closely related to the intensity and duration of exercise; however, the ability to maintain or increase performance when practicing sports, while reducing muscle damage and building stable blood glucose levels or avoiding the depletion of glycogen stores, are some of the benefits appreciated from an adequate intake when practicing sport.
Furthermore, carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) following high-intensity or long-duration physical exercise responsible for muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stored in the skeletal muscles. *
Hydrajelly is available in 40 g sizes and 5 flavors, all of which contain various amounts of sodium to maintain electrolyte balance, a possible cause of muscular cramps and hyponatremia:
*The beneficial effect is gained after consuming carbohydrates from all the sources, with a total intake of 4 g/kg of body weight, in doses taken within four to six hours following physical exercise, a declaration intended for adults who have performed high-intensity or long-duration physical exercise.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Take 1 to 4 units per hour with water, depending on the needs of each user.
