Last Sunday, Madrid came alive with the 47th edition of the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series, which saw 45,000 runners from 118 countries take to the sunny and festive streets. Among them was our ambassador, Yago Rojo, who left an indelible mark on the men’s marathon podium by taking third place with an impressive time of 2:09:35.
The only Spaniard on the podium, Yago thrilled the home crowd with his dedication and determination. “It was spectacular; I will remember this moment for the rest of my life. The 42 km route was lined with people cheering me on,” he declared after crossing the finish line.
As a 226ERS ambassador, Yago relied on our range of products to optimise his performance and recovery during the demanding event. His success reflects his talent and dedication, as well as the importance of proper nutrition in high-performance sports.
